A couple years ago, this video by CGP Grey moved me to action to have my family focus more on learning computer languages than human languages. This is because we want our children to be great doctors, scientists, engineers, artists, etc., who can code, and code well. We see this as the only way for them to be marketable in an economy that is transitioning from capitalism to a shared economy with a universal basic income.
